YOUR DATA, EXPLAINED
Privacy Policy
Effective August 3, 2026
This policy explains what Repolve collects, why we use it, who processes it for us, and how you can control or delete it.
Information we collect
- Account information such as email address, authentication identifier, username, display name, and profile photo.
- Fitness and profile information such as bodyweight, sex used for scoring, unit preference, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, workout duration, personal records, and calculated Strength Scores.
- Social information such as friendships, requests, reactions, season participation, reports, and blocks.
- Product usage and diagnostics such as screens visited, features used, app version, session activity, errors, feature-loading times, and device/platform information.
- Information you voluntarily send through support or feedback forms.
How we use information
We use this information to operate accounts, save and sync workouts, calculate progress, provide social and competition features, prevent abuse, respond to support, maintain reliability, and understand which product experiences are useful.
Analytics are used to understand how Repolve is used in aggregate and are not used to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
Repolve does not sell personal information and does not use your fitness data for cross-app advertising tracking.
Legal basis
We process information with your consent where required, to provide the services you request, maintain the security and reliability of Repolve, comply with legal obligations where applicable, and improve the product through aggregated usage analytics. Depending on your location, additional legal bases or rights may apply.
Service providers
We use service providers only to run Repolve. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; Amplitude for product analytics; Apple for Sign in with Apple and Google for Google Sign-In when chosen; Expo for app delivery infrastructure; and Tally when you open the external feedback form. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Sharing and visibility
Your public profile, published workout activity, leaderboard position, and season achievements may be visible to friends or other competition participants, depending on your activity and the feature being used. Private authentication details, bodyweight, and sex are not shown as public profile fields. Blocking removes the connection and hides the blocked person from your supported social surfaces.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and workout data while your account is active so Repolve can provide history, scoring, and social features. You can permanently delete your account in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion begins immediately when the request succeeds. This deletes the authentication account and cloud records connected through it, including uploaded profile images and other cloud-stored account content, and clears local account data from that device.
Some records may require a short period to be removed from backups or service-provider systems as their routine retention cycles complete.
Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes, and are removed when no longer necessary.
Your choices
- Edit profile information from Settings or the social profile editor.
- Remove individual locally saved workouts where that feature is available.
- Block or report another user from their profile or activity.
- Delete your account in-app or contact us for privacy assistance.
Security, age, and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Repolve is not intended for children under 13. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Applicable law
Repolve is based in British Columbia, Canada. We handle personal information under applicable privacy laws, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act where it applies, together with any other privacy laws that apply based on your location.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Repolve evolves. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
