THE REPOLVE STRENGTH GUIDE

Your strength, muscle by muscle.

One overall score can hide very different training histories. Your muscle breakdown shows which areas you have evidence for and how their scores compare.

What is a Strength Profile?

Repolve’s Strength Profile combines an overall Strength Score with individual muscle scores, coverage, and calibration. It is built from supported exercises you log. It estimates training strength from performance; it does not directly measure muscle size or replace a physical assessment.

Seven groups contribute to the overall score

Chest, shoulders, triceps, back, biceps, quads, and hamstrings contribute to the current overall score. The app can show other training information, but not every muscle displayed on a body map is a separately scored part of that overall calculation.

An exercise can train more than it measures

A compound exercise involves several muscles. Repolve assigns scoring evidence through its exercise model instead of giving every involved muscle a new score from one set. For example, the default calculator entries provide primary evidence for chest through bench press, quads through squat, and back through deadlift. That is a scoring convention, not a complete anatomy map of those movements.

Unknown is different from weak

A blank muscle score means the tool does not yet have enough supported evidence for that area. It does not mean the muscle is weak. Even a measured difference can reflect exercise choice, limited history, or equipment differences. Look at the underlying lifts before deciding it is a training imbalance.

Find the question worth asking

If a measured area trails the others, inspect its best lift and recent sessions. Have you trained it consistently? Did the exercise setup change? Is the score still calibrating? The profile gives you a place to start investigating, rather than diagnosing a weak point from a color on a map.

Watch the profile develop

Use the free calculator for an initial breakdown. Add supported exercises to cover more areas when you have the sets available. In Repolve, saved workouts let you follow overall and muscle-level changes over time, alongside estimated maxes and PR history.
