LIFTING TOOLS
Deadlift strength calculator.
Estimate your deadlift one-rep max from a completed set and see its exercise score against Repolve’s deadlift standards.
Calculate your deadlift score
Enter the total barbell weight, including the bar. Use a completed set of 1–12 reps. Inputs stay in your browser.
Muscles worked
Back, glutes, and hamstrings, with grip and trunk involvement. In Repolve’s scoring model, this exercise supplies primary evidence for back. Training involvement and scoring coverage are different things.
Make your sessions comparable
Keep the starting height, stance, and use of straps consistent. Reps reset on the floor and touch-and-go reps may not be equivalent. Note these differences when deciding whether two sessions are comparable.
How the estimate works
For a single rep, the estimate is the load entered. For 2–12 reps, the production engine uses the Epley estimate: weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30). It compares the resulting estimated max with bodyweight and the exercise’s sex-specific thresholds. This is an estimate from a completed set, not a prescription for your next attempt.
Deadlift strength standards
These ratios come directly from Repolve’s production standards. They describe exercise benchmarks, not population percentiles or age-adjusted rankings.
| Reference | Score | Male | Female |

Track progression
Track the set as well as the estimate. In Repolve’s current scoring model, deadlifts provide primary evidence for back. This does not mean your hamstrings or glutes were not involved; it means one lift is not used to invent a full lower-body profile.
Common variations
Romanian deadlifts are a separate exercise with separate standards. Rack pulls and other shortened-range variations should not be entered as full deadlifts to obtain a comparable score.
